After more than 20 years working at senior commercial level, including as a Commercial Director in the roofing sector and across large-scale retail and high-profile national brands, I had the privilege of seeing firsthand how businesses grow, stumble, adapt and ultimately succeed. I have learned what happens behind the boardroom doors, on the ground with teams, and everywhere in between.
Over the years, I helped shape and scale multiple organisations — strengthening their commercial strategies, building strong partnerships, improving processes, developing people, and guiding them through periods of transformation.

I founded Elevate Roofing Advisory Limited to bring all of that experience together with a more personal, hands-on approach. Here, no two clients look the same. Every business has its own story, its own challenges, and its own ambitions.
My role is to understand that story deeply and help write the next chapter.

My career has never been limited to driving commercial success within businesses. It has also been shaped by a deep commitment to the roofing industry itself — its people, its professionalism and its future.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of serving on several boards and advisory groups, using my experience to help shape standards, improve development pathways and strengthen the environments in which roofing professionals grow.
A significant part of that journey has been my involvement with the Institute of Roofing, where I have served as both a board member and Honorary Treasurer. In these positions, I’ve supported the Institute’s mission to raise standards, promote best practice and embed professionalism across the sector.
Working alongside dedicated industry leaders has reinforced my belief that roofing thrives when knowledge is shared, celebrated and continually developed.
I also serve as Chair of Raise the Roof, an initiative dedicated to showcasing excellence, advancing skills and inspiring the next generation of roofing talent. Our focus is clear: to champion continual learning and elevate the professionalism of the entire sector.
That passion for developing people led to one of the most meaningful milestones of my career. In 2019, I helped set up a training centre in partnership with Juniper Training, created specifically to support and inspire the next generation of roofers.
This centre was built on a simple but powerful idea — that raising standards begins with providing young people the skills, confidence and opportunity to succeed. Seeing learners grow, progress and find their place in the industry remains one of the most rewarding parts of my work.
